What will be your role

In this role you will integrate a technical team delivering great software that will help our clients to accomplish its business objectives by:

• Your role will be PMO for Data Initiatives to join our client team, a prominent energy company.
• In this role, will be pivotal in ensuring seamless alignment with the organization's Data & AI Strategy and Architecture. You will collaborate actively to accelerate and drive data projects and proof of concepts, engaging key stakeholders and team members to ensure the successful execution of data-driven initiatives.
• Working with other team members to achieve great performance
• Ensure alignment of data initiatives with the organization's Data & AI Strategy and Architecture.
• Lead and facilitate the planning, execution, and monitoring of data projects and proof of concepts.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes to accelerate project delivery.
• Engage key stakeholders across departments to gather requirements, provide updates, and solicit feedback on data initiatives.
• Foster strong relationships with internal and external partners to drive collaboration and alignment.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the progress and success of data projects.
• Regularly review project performance and identify areas for improvement or optimization.
• Collaborate closely with leadership to understand strategic objectives and translate them into actionable data projects and initiatives.
• Diagnosing and solving complex technical problems.
• Challenging feature requirements if you think they add no value.
• Researching new technologies to improve effectiveness.
• Participating and contributing to other company-wide initiatives.

What should you bring to the team

• At least 5 years of experience in Project Management;
• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Management or Information Systems are a plus;
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a plus too;
• Expertise in crafting solutions within challenging environments;
• High sense of responsibility and rigor in the execution of tasks;
• Contribute with your strong understanding of data strategy, architecture, and governance principles;
• Experience in Agile environments;
• A focus on the result (and not on the task);
• Ability to work both collaboratively but also on your own;
• Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of innovation, learning, and continuous improvement;
• Provide support to enable effective execution of data-driven initiatives;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese and English;
• The capacity to listen & influence people and foster change in a collaborative way;
• A keen commitment to your team;
